The Vought F-8 Crusader was a single-engine, supersonic, carrier-based air superiority jet built for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. Its combination of speed, agility, and firepower made it a formidable dogfighter.

The model features accurately detailed panel lines and rivets, a precisely detailed cockpit and landing gear, and the option to assemble the distinctive variable-incidence wing and air brake in the open or closed position.
