Why this kit matters
The original Focke Wulf Fw 190 (designed by Kurt Tank) was one of the Luftwaffe's premier single-seat low-wing fighters of World War II. The D-series ('Dora' models) were developed with a longer nose and a more powerful engine to extend performance at altitude. The D-12 R14 variant was a proposed torpedo-carrying version, featuring the large fin typical of the Ta 152 and the ability to carry a centre-line torpedo rack.

How to use it
Begin by carefully removing parts from the sprues, clean any mould-lines, and assemble the major sub-assemblies (cockpit, fuselage halves, wings). Use plastic model cement to bond the parts, then paint using suitable acrylic or enamel aircraft colours (not included). Fit the clear canopy parts and decals after painting. Once complete, you can display the model on a shelf, in a display case, or alongside other 1/48 aircraft models for a coherent collection.
