Overview
Developed to conquer the 1976 Manufacturer's World Championship, the Porsche 935 was a dominant Group 5 racing car. These "Silhouette Formula" machines were heavily modified but retained the basic profile of their road-going counterparts. Based on the Porsche 930 Turbo, the 935 featured wide fenders, a massive rear wing, an aerodynamically advantageous "flat nose," and a powerful 590hp turbocharged engine. In its iconic Martini Racing livery, it won the 1976 championship.
This 1/20 scale kit from Tamiya is a detailed replica of the legendary German racing car. The model features a removable engine hood that reveals a fully detailed, horizontally opposed 6-cylinder turbo engine. The tight racing cockpit includes a full driver figure. The kit is completed with high-quality Cartograf decals to perfectly recreate the famous Martini livery, slick tyres made from solid rubber, and a stainless steel antenna.
