First introduced in 1990, the Mitsubishi GTO (sold as the 3000GT in many markets) was a technological showcase that burst onto the 4WD sports car scene. The top-grade model was packed with cutting-edge features for its time, including a 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine, full-time 4WD, four-wheel steering, and even active aerodynamics and exhaust systems.
