Announced in January 1999, the R34 Skyline GT-R was a legend from the moment it was born. With its powerful 2.6-litre twin-turbo straight-six engine, advanced ATTESA E-TS 4WD system, and new 6-speed Getrag transmission, it was said to be the strongest domestically produced car in Japan. The high-performance V-Spec model featured effective front and rear diffusers under the body, enhancing its already incredible performance and handling characteristics.
This 1/24 scale Tamiya kit models the powerful, toned form of the R34 GT-R with exacting detail. The kit features a precise reproduction of the complex multi-link suspension and 4WD system on the chassis underside. The interior is easy to assemble yet has a rich, three-dimensional finish, and real nylon mesh is provided for the front grille opening to tighten the look.
