Overview
The Russian "Club-K" is a modern and deceptive cruise missile system cleverly disguised within a standard 20-foot shipping container. This allows the weapon to be installed on railroad flatcars, ships, trucks, or in harbour areas without revealing its true nature until it is ready to be used. The system can fire various cruise missiles from the "Club" family, such as the Kh-35UE, which are capable of striking both ship and ground targets from long distances at very low altitudes.
This 1/35 scale kit from Trumpeter is a detailed replica of this unconventional modern weapon. It can be built in two distinct ways: completely closed to look like an ordinary shipping container, or with the roof and doors open to display the fully detailed missile launcher and Kh-35UE cruise missile inside. The kit includes photo-etched parts for extra refinement, making it an impressive model of a rarely seen subject.
