Keith Jarrett's "The Carnegie Hall Concert" is a double album documentation of the pianist's first U.S. solo concert in a decade, with the venue heightening the sense of occasion. Music featured is effectively a summary of styles Jarrett has traversed over the years. Two set-length suites of songs of many temperaments, composed in the moment, followed by no less than five ardently demanded encores - including "My Song", some boogie-woogie blues and the standard "Time On My Hands".
