Their unapologetically heavy sound has run from harsh electronic noise beginnings through gale-force industrial pop to the half-joking categorisation “cum metal” of their previous album RAT WARS – yet what unites HEALTH’s music is its root of depressive weight and maximalist aesthetic intensity.
